About our baby Jasper

A few months ago, Kim and I brought Jasper, a yorkie puppy, into our home. He is so loving and always, always, gentle. He will go up to anyone, including big dogs, and give them lots and lots of kisses. He is a good buddy for Fernando, though Fernando still thinks that he's the boss. Jasper is so calm and sweet. He weighs about 5 pounds. When we got him, we were told that he was 7 months old. We had him checked by a vet, though, and they said that he's at least 5 years old. That's okay with us, he acts so much like a puppy anyway. Yorkies, for anyone who doesn't know, have hair and not fur. This means that people can't have allergies to them. He can lick us right on the face and it doesn't effect our allergies whatsoever. He loves going on walks and loves to get on Kim's lap whenever she gets on her wheelchair. He loves wheelchair rides. He also loves to snuggle with us when we sleep. I'll go to sleep, and wake up with a nice warm Jasper snuggled up to me. He doesn't howl and only ever barks if he needs to alert us to someone that's coming to our apartment. He loves to look out the blinds at our window and watch people outside. Whenever we come home from being out, he is looking out at us from between the blinds. Then, he'll run over to the door, with Fernando too, to greet us. We love our Jasper so much. He is a wonderful addition to our family.
