Last year, Kim and I helped a brand new baby girl to get safely into foster care. We would've taken her in permanently, as next of kin, but we hadn't known the mom for at least one year. We were there for the birth and Kim actually slept over at the hospital for 3 days to help the mom. This was only 6 weeks after Kim's stroke in August.. Kendra is such a sweetheart.
